As we have just reached our second full year of trading, we thought we would produce a quick update of where we are and what we have been up to.

IRS (Medical) Ltd has gone from strength to strength this year and we are pleased in that not only have we built up our core business, but we have also bought in new business which has pushed us in new directions and expanded the services we can offer to our customer base.
We have regularly been updating our website with new features such as testimonials and a news page. The news page in particular has been popular with our customers both existing and new in seeing what we have been up to and the services we can offer. CCTV Supply & Installation Service
On of the key milestones this year has been our continued work on the Leeds PFI project, which should be completed early next year. We are installing our own CCTV system into the 10 Radiotherapy bunkers and due to the popularity of this system have been asked by Bovis Lend Lease and the Leeds trust to provide similar additional systems for their CT / Simulators, Operating theatre’s, Brachytherapy suites, wards and various other rooms. We have also been approached by other PFI schemes and medical equipment manufacturers to provide the same service and are currently providing quotations to the market place. Engineering Installation & Service Support
We are very proud to announce a newly signed contract with Gulmay Medical Ltd to provide them with service and installation support on their Gulmay and Pantak range of Ortho-Voltage equipment across the UK.
We continue to provide engineering installation support to OIS Ltd and have been installing their LAP Apollo lasers and Dorado Lasers into Radiotherapy, CT and diagnostic suites both in Leeds and across the UK and Ireland.
We have also introduced a supply & installation service for Unistrut support systems to assist our own ceiling Laser installations in particular and other applications required by our customers. For more information - http://www.irsmedical.co.uk/engineering.htm

Equipment Decommissioning & Compliant Disposal Service
Our complaint equipment removal and waste service is also growing and this year and we have continued to expand the service with regular contracts being taken up by a leading electronics manufacturer and a nationwide veterinarian supply group. This is in addition to the Linac’s and Simulators we have removed and disposed of from both Wolverhampton and Middlesex NHS trusts and a cardiac catheter unit from Southampton NHS trust. Turnkey Room Refurbishments & New Construction
Our building and refurbishment service has also continued to grow in the medical sector. We have completed a darkroom upgrade to CR reader facility at Preston for the trust and an upgraded HDR facility for Nucletron UK Ltd at Derby Royal Infirmary. Other building projects including new builds both in the UK and Ireland are also in the pipeline and promising new contacts have been made this year with leading medical equipment manufacturers in the UK, so we are very excited about the future. Electrical Support Services
